In order to promote capacity building in the country's justice sector, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has given Trinidad and Tobago a significant consulting contract. On November 13, 2025, the USD 75,104 contract was formally signed under procurement reference 10472430/UNDP-TTO-00170.
Increasing the Capability of the Justice Sector via Innovative Training
Suzanne Seepersad, a Trinidad and Tobago-based independent consultant, was given the contract to oversee the creation of manuals and training materials for important stakeholders in the justice sector. This programme is an essential part of UNDP's larger mission to support rule-of-law reforms throughout the Caribbean, improve institutional efficacy, and increase access to justice.
A competitive and open selection process was ensured by using the UNDP Individual Consultant (IC) method with sealed financials to acquire the consultancy.
